Strength of Heart

Strength of Heart, an outreach program affiliated with Through the Roof, is the unique speaking ministry of Shanda Lynn Grubb.

Strength of Heart began in December 2004 as a speaking ministry. During the early months the Lord brought precious friends and family alongside this newborn ministry as support and encouragement. God proved His faithfulness and provision as we depended on Him to grow us into effective instruments to be used for His purposes. Doors opened up to speak at different venues around the country and in other nations. Prayer teams pray for God to be magnified and to change hearts. Outreach: Through the message of God’s power and purpose, hundreds of individuals in devastating situations such as Katrina survivors, women prisoners, the poor and forgotten in Honduras and the disabled living in nursing facilities are being changed and challenged to live beyond their present circumstances through Shanda's speaking ministry.

HeartForce: Strength of Heart is breaking new ground. Discipleship training material HeartForce developed by Shanda creates opportunities for followers of Jesus Christ in all walks of life to use their immediate circumstances to glorify God. HeartForce focuses on the power of prayer, the armor of God, discipleship and evangelism to participate in the Lord’s plan for every nation and person to honor Jesus as King and Savior. We are now pursuing people and places where this innovative workshop can be shared. One such place is an Akron, Ohio nursing home and rehabilitation facility where two young gentlemen live. They both love the Lord, but have wondered about their purpose now that they are “confined” to a nursing home.

Enthusiasm sparkled in their eyes as they heard about the mission of HeartForce. “This is what I’ve been waiting for!”, one of them said with tears in his eyes. “This means God still has a use for me”.
