“What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food (a wheelchair or walker or other physical needs). If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about the physical needs, what good is it?” James 2:14-17

Our Mission Trips page describes how to apply, what to expect and lists upcoming mission trips.

Reach Out Ministry aims to meet the needs of those affected by disability by networking with like minded ministries to provide medical and rehabilitation equipment, give Bibles, provide disability ministry training, and share the love of Jesus, in the developing countries we are called to serve.
Demographic patterns and social indicators, such as poverty and health, show that the rate of disabilities is rising. Central Americans with disabilities are among the most marginalized, isolated and disadvantaged of the region's population. This status is not the result of their disability but of political, social, economic and cultural conditions, including the perception that those with disabilities, by definition, impose a burden on society rather than make a contribution.
Approximately five million disabled persons, now live in Central America, and are among the poorest of the poor. In some of these countries the cost of a wheelchair or rehabilitation equipment can equal a year's wages, resulting in the impossibility for people affected by disability to ever get the help they need. Living in isolation, lacking simple mobility and cut off from life, many of the disabled are also tragically cut off from the local church and community. Please partner with us to reach out … together we can make a difference!
