One of every 10 people in the world has a disability

- some 650 million worldwide. If you grouped these people into one nation, they would comprise the world's third largest country with the highest rates of poverty, unemployment, and homelessness...

Through the Roof Disability Ministry - inspired by the story in the gospel of Mark 2:3-5:

Four men who had faith, overcame obstacles and barriers by breaking through the roof of a home where Jesus was to bring their disabled friend to Him. Through the Roof's vision is to see this story carried out all over the world, that Christ's church would reach out, break down barriers, and build bridges to bring people affected by disability to Jesus.

We have traveled to  6 countries educating churches, schools, and the government on the needs of those with disabilities. We have distributed over 2,000 wheelchairs and thousands of walkers, canes and crutches. Most important is the countless number that have received a Bible and the good news of salvation through Jesus. This year we traveled to Honduras with a team of 12 and held our first Family Retreat for those affected by disability. Over 50 accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior during this trip!
